DUPE: Windsor Smith Lily | London Rebel Stereo

Windsor Smith Lilys - $89.95 buy here
London Rebel Stereos-$39.99 buy here

Chunky sandals are right on trend this summer and I have seen them in soo many shops recently. I personally absolutely love the way they look and think they add a much more put together look when worn with pretty much anything! and lets be honest who can be bothered putting much effort into their outfit in the heat of the summer? certainly not I, so these shoes really fit the bill.
The Windsor Smith Lilys seem to be at the top of the line in this particular style and although I loved these shoes and would admire them on other people, I couldn't bring my self to pay 90 bucks for a pair of sandals that may not even be in fashion by next summer. I don't know maybe that's just me being stingey, but when I saw the exact same pair of  shoes in London Rebel for under half the price... lets just say it didn't take very long until I was walking away a very happy customer!!
So far I have worn them around 4-5 times in the space of about week which is actually quite a lot considering I don't leave the house very often and have found that they are really comfortable. Having a slight platform along with a modestly sized heel adds a bit of height without the discomfort of a high heel, which is great news for those who happen to be on the shorter side of the spectrum. When I first tried them on, I thought I might need a bigger size than my regular size 8 as they were quite tight, however the shop assistant assured me that they would stretch about 20% and stretch they did, as after wearing them a couple of times they fit me perfectly. I think they look best teamed with cropped jeans or pants for a more polished look or flowy summer dresses/ smock dresses for a super casual and summery vibe.
Overall, I highly recommend the London Rebel Stereos as dupes for the Windsor Smith Lilys if you are not willing to pay the price tag as they are good bang for your buck and are guaranteed to keep your feet happy all summer long.
